Come prepared to spend time outside hiking and exploring! Each week will have a different topic. Dress in snow pants, boots, hats, gloves and scarves. Bring indoor shoes and extra dry socks. Must be toilet trained.

Learn how planting rain gardens can help beautify our yards and help turn problem areas into functional landscapes. Jim Kleinwachter of The Conservation Foundation will also discuss the benefits of rain barrels to capture water for our gardens and houseplants. Attendees will receive a native plant guide and information on how to obtain a rain barrel at a low cost.
